Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a background in System Communications and/or Embedded Systems, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded firmware/software development. Strong knowledge of MCU embedded C, C++, and Python programming is required, as well as familiarity with embedded software development environments, modern tools, Microcontrollers/Microprocessors, ARM MPU architectures, and embedded Linux/RTOS systems and networking. Candidates should also be comfortable working with both well-defined and ambiguous requirements and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded OS software and Device Drivers for Alif’s MCU/MPU systems, working closely with other developers and architects to design and develop System Software. They will ensure high standards of deliverables through automated testing, provide outstanding support and guidance to customers, and monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance.
