Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, along with a minimum of five years of experience in developing firmware and/or software for embedded products. Experience with IoT edge devices is considered a plus, and proficiency in developing software for embedded Linux, along with experience in Real Time Operating Systems and bare metal, is highly desirable. Candidates should be proficient in C and/or C++ programming, adhering to best engineering practices, and possess hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other standard lab equipment. Comfort working with both well-defined and ambiguous requirements is also expected.

Responsibilities

The Embedded Software Application Engineer will be responsible for designing embedded firmware, application examples, and proof-of-concept solutions, developing reference designs in collaboration with partners and independent design houses, creating and presenting training material targeting embedded applications and solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction through outstanding support and guidance, contributing to the development of documentation such as Application Notes, Quick Start Guides, and User Manuals, working with the marketing team to validate product requirements and review new product introduction materials, and assisting in business development activities.
