Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman's Electrician license (or equivalent)
- Valid driver's license and CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain both)
- Pass the CAST TEST
- Available to perform overtime and emergency work as required
- Live within 30 minutes of the reporting location in Hadley, MA
- Ability to work in inclement weather and outside assigned district
- Willing to job-site report
- Available for designated shift work, including possible Saturday workday and four 10-hour workweek
- For helper level: Must be WMECO bargaining unit employee (all other candidates must be fully-qualified)
- Respond to emergency situations outside normal responsibilities, work hours, and location
Responsibilities
- Support substation and maintenance department operations as an Electrician (or Electrician Helper)
- Participate in emergency restoration assignments to meet customer needs
