- Valid driver's license and CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain both)
- Pass the CAST TEST
- Available to perform overtime and emergency work as required

- Ability to work in inclement weather and outside assigned district
- Willing to job-site report
- Available for designated shift work, including possible Saturday workday and four 10-hour workweek
- For helper level: Must be WMECO bargaining unit employee (all other candidates must be fully-qualified)
- Respond to emergency situations outside normal responsibilities, work hours, and location
