Requirements

Licensed Industrial Electrician 442A
Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma (preferred)
Knowledge of AC/DC Drives, Relay Logic, RS Logix 500 and Control Logix Programming
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work collaboratively
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Availability for shift/weekend work and on-call in emergencies

Responsibilities

Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
Work with computers, AC/DC drives, HMI’s and PLC’s
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Maintain spare parts inventory
Work closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance personnel
Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis
Comply with internal and corporate policies, procedures and regulations with respect to Health & Safety
Respond to emergency situations as necessary
Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Manager
