Training beyond high school is required, including an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or a closely related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience such as skilled trade programs or military training.
Proficiency is required in electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes, including AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, electrical safety and lock/out tag/out, electronic devices like solid state drives, PLC systems, and control instrumentation.
Strong candidates have an Associate Degree or equivalent training, proficiency in Windows software like Outlook, Excel, Word, and SAP Plant Maintenance, excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, good safety and attendance record, strong interpersonal skills, and relevant technical certifications.
