Requirements

  • BE / Btech / ME / MTech in Electronics / Instrumentation / Systems or relevant specialization in Engineering
  • 4 to 7 years of Electronics circuit design-based product development
  • Analog circuit design based on discrete components, op-amps, etc
  • Digital circuit design based on Micro-processor, Micro-controller, CPLD/FPGA along with Peripheral interface design capabilities for IOs, Displays, ADC/DAC, Sensors, etc
  • Working experience in motors & motor controllers (eg. BLDC)
  • Working experience with various sensors like HALL, magnetic, temperature, pressure, etc in terms of sensing circuit design, cable interface designs, etc
  • Working experience in various communications like RFID, WiFi, BLE, etc
  • Strong testing skills based on Compliance/Standard requirements along with automation capabilities
  • Knowledge of eCAD tools for schematic drawing, circuit simulations, Layout reviews, etc
  • Understanding of Manufacturing process and development of required test set-up
  • Understanding of VHDL code, Firmware, mechanical designs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and mentoring capabilities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and directly contribute to its success
  • Ability to drive change and influence culture
  • Strong inclination towards New technologies, create Proof of Concepts
  • Willingness and ability to assume increased responsibility
  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies and Governmental regulations
  • Occasional international and domestic travel may be required less than 25%

Responsibilities

  • Part of New Product Development / Sustenance work for design changes, analysis and determination of critical component requirements along with support for CAPA
  • Designing, developing, testing and documenting hardware designs
  • Analysis and modeling of identified design solutions to ensure fulfillment of sub-system requirements and system architecture
  • Supporting and troubleshooting of circuit designs
  • Providing technical support and maintenance of existing products
  • Ensuring adherence to Medtronic and other quality standards including design procedures and compliance requirements
  • Interfacing with cross-functional project team members like Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Technical communications, technical support, production, and suppliers
  • Participating in on-going professional development activities
  • Other duties may be assigned
