Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic control unit designs
  • Solid fundamental knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits
  • Hands-on experiences in designs with MCUs, A/D converters, Serializer/Deserializers, PHYs, and power converters
  • Understanding of power integrity (PI) and signal integrity (SI) principles and implementation in PCB designs
  • Bonus Qualifications
  • Experiences with automotive EMC compliance
  • Experiences with automotive-grade firmware development
  • Knowledge of automotive functional safety and system-level integration analysis

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end electrical design ownership of Electronic Control Units
  • Schematic capture and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts
  • Basic firmware/software/scripts developments for hardware functions bring up and debugging
  • Support mechanical engineers on packaging and thermal designs
  • Support test engineers on design validation, ESD, EMC tests
  • Support system engineers on system integration and functional safety analysis
  • Design requirements and concepts documentation
