The Controls Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for industrial machinery. They will program, test, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and SCADA systems. The role includes developing and modifying control logic and ladder diagrams for automation processes, integrating industrial control systems with mechanical and electrical components, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. They will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical control panels, collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve system reliability, and develop technical documentation. Additionally, they will support commissioning and ongoing maintenance of automation systems and assist in training plant personnel.
