Responsibilities

Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies (routine, sleep deprived, LTM)
Obtains patient history from medical record and documents information in digital EEG system
Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate
Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems
Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space
Provides clinical oversight for non-registered technicians performing EEG procedures (if registered)
Acts as a super-user/system administrator for the NATUS digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems
Weekend call in a rotation required (7:30am to 4:00pm)
