Candidates should possess a strong sales background and experience in district sales management, with a preference for candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish (bilingual). Prior experience in the food distribution industry is beneficial, and a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team of Territory Managers is essential.
The District Sales Manager will oversee a team of Territory Managers, driving sales growth and account penetration within a designated district. They will develop and implement sales plans, provide coaching and training to TMs, monitor performance against objectives, manage budgets and expenses, and collaborate with various internal teams to support sales efforts. Additionally, the role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring new hires, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing TM and customer issues.
