Requirements

  • Highly credible HPE Telco expert and authority with deep business and technical knowledge of Telco Compute, operators' technical & business challenges, NEPs solutions, and other partners' added value
  • Ability to serve as thought-leader/confidant consultant to decision makers at Operators and NEPs for roadmap/strategy advice, identifying HPE Telco SMEs, what-if scenarios (technical, business case, operational), bringing partners together, market knowledge, and coaching on new technologies/business models/operational risks
  • Proactive in working with customers to identify new opportunities, shape their future, address threats, based on market/competitive/customer knowledge
  • Knowledge of advanced technology, theories, or techniques impacting Telecom disciplines (Core, Cloud Ran, Far Edge, etc.) to demonstrate HPE added value
  • Ability to act as organization spokesperson on specialized Telecom projects/programs
  • Deep technical expertise in hardware, software, or services for Telecom specific proposals
  • Knowledge of adjacent, leading-edge, and emerging technologies in the Telecom industry and associated market segments

Responsibilities

  • Champions large projects affecting Telecom customers’ long-range technical/business goals to accelerate HPE and Customer objectives
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and less qualified employees for knowledge transfer and team growth
  • Provides deep technical expertise for hardware, software, or services in creating/delivering Telecom specific proposals to meet customers’ business needs
  • Creates and maintains effective customer relationships to secure satisfaction by demonstrating HPE added value
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of adjacent, leading-edge, and emerging technologies in Telecom
  • Guides customers on migrating/integrating technologies in new/existing environments based on joint technical journey
  • Participates in deep-dive telecom specific discussions to translate customer problems into HPE Account team solutions
  • Provides market and customer feedback to Telecom business unit engineering
