Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. They should have experience with public company accounting and a strong understanding of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

The Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting will oversee the preparation and review of Motive’s consolidated financial statements, including S-1 filings and potential future SEC filings. They will develop and maintain Motive’s accounting policies, assess technical accounting issues, own equity and stock-based compensation accounting, provide guidance on capitalization of software development costs, support internal controls, and serve as a liaison with external auditors while continuing to develop technical accounting personnel, systems, and procedures.
