Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of experience in security engineering and IT, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices. Demonstrated experience leading and managing security teams is essential, along with a deep knowledge of application, infrastructure, and cloud security technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

The Director, Security Engineering and IT will own and evolve the company-wide security program and roadmap, leading and growing a team covering security engineering, operations, and IT. They will define and implement application, infrastructure, and cloud security practices, serve as the technical and strategic voice on security, guide and participate in incident response, collaborate with execs on risk tradeoffs, and integrate security into product and engineering lifecycles. Additionally, they will lead business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning, and build security metrics tied to business outcomes.
