  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of experience as Director, Data Science (or closely related) building algorithms using Python, C++, Java, or Spark and ML/DL frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) to deploy applications in financial services environment
  • Or, Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and 4 years of experience as Director, Data Science (or closely related) building algorithms using Python, C++, Java, or Spark and ML/DL frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) to deploy applications in financial services environment
  • Demonstrated Expertise performing advanced statistical modelling to develop, analyze, and evaluate supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms using Neural Networks (RNNs, Seq-to-Seq, BERT, Adversarial Networks, LSTMs), Feature Selection, Clustering (Uniform Manifold Approximation and Projection)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, Java)
  • Experience with ML (scikit-learn) and DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Experience creating Web applications with front-end technologies (React.js)
  • Experience developing AI models on Cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker)
  • Experience with visualization dashboard tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense)
  • Experience using Jira for collaboration with Product Owner, defining tasks, and managing stories
  • Experience with AI/ML lifecycle management (MLflow, Jenkins, Amazon SageMaker Pipelines) including model versioning, data drift monitoring, and MLOps

Responsibilities

  • Build algorithms using programming languages (Python, C++, Java), ML (scikit-learn), and DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Collect requirements and deliver AI/ML solutions driving customer and business value
  • Create Web applications using front-end technologies (React.js)
  • Develop AI models on Cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker)
  • Use visualization dashboard tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense) for result monitoring
  • Collaborate with Product Owner to define tasks for sprints and manage stories using Jira
  • Oversee end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle management, including model versioning, data drift monitoring, and MLOps standards using MLflow, Jenkins, or Amazon SageMaker Pipelines
  • Develop and deploy AI models addressing business needs by understanding problems, researching solutions, and prototyping
  • Work with AI teams, business stakeholders, and deployment teams for alignment with objectives
  • Train and deploy advanced DL and NLP models (RNNs, Seq-to-Seq, BERT, Adversarial Networks, LSTMs, GANs) at scale
  • Perform orchestration of training workflows, inference endpoints, and batch predictions
  • Perform model evaluation, tuning, and scalability using distributed systems, parallel/multi-threaded programming, and GPU environments
  • Support operational deployment of AI/ML solutions
  • Lead full AI/ML lifecycle (data ingestion, model development, training, deployment, monitoring)
  • Develop/deliver projects with large-scale multi-dimensional databases and big data technologies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate and decide on new/existing tools for projects
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles
  • Research, design, and develop computer/network software or specialized utility programs
