Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, such as Engineering or Mathematics, with a concentration in foundational Computer Science areas including algorithms, computer architecture, programming methodologies, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics. Alternatively, a degree in Information Technology or Information Security with equivalent coursework may be considered, or a PhD with 4 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree with 10 years of experience. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development/analysis roles, and may include engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration. Completion of military training in a relevant area, such as JCAC, may also be considered towards the experience requirement.
