Must possess advanced wiring skills for lights and harnesses on vehicles
Must possess welding skills
Must be able to take road service calls as needed
Must be able to service vehicles (PM1, PM2)
Must be able to perform PM6 – DOT inspections (after 1 year)
Must be able to perform loader repairs
Must be able to perform minor motor, transmission, and rear end repairs
Must be able to perform major trailer repairs
Must be able to work in cold, hot and/or wet conditions
Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last two years (excluding D.U.I. conviction on Motor Vehicle Record)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a company license
Must possess basic computer skills
Good interpersonal, writing and communication skills
Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic, preventive and repair maintenance on company heavy and light fleet vehicles
Diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Comply with Department of Transportation rules and regulations
Maintain a safe work environment
Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
