Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experienced leadership in a multi-faceted environment
Technically proficient in dialysis department operations and knowledge of industry practices and business principles
Ability to analyze diverse situations or data, evaluate factors, and understand current business trends
Adherence to FMCNA Compliance Program, all regulatory, FMS policy requirements, federal/state/local laws, and ESRD standards
Knowledge of Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) tools and practices

Responsibilities

Manage tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives, including costs, methods, staffing, and results
Provide leadership, coaching, development plans for direct reports; partner with HR on employee matters; hire, counsel, conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Support and drive FMS quality standards, meet ESRD regulatory requirements, conduct QAI, address adverse events and action thresholds
Oversee facility’s Home Therapies Program if applicable
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, clinical quality policies, and procedures; communicate and implement them
Maintain integrity of medical records, administrative/operational records; comply with data collections and auditing
Maintain facility environmental integrity and safety
Coordinate all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge
Ensure patient education on quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, access care, catheter reduction, and treatment adherence
Act as a resource for patients to address concerns
Make daily decisions to ensure continuity of care, patient and staff safety
Provide technical guidance, participate/present at meetings, interact with internal/external stakeholders, resolve problems, recommend policy changes, and establish procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
