The DevSecOps Engineer should possess a strong understanding of security principles and practices, including network security, least-privilege permissions in the cloud, and SIEM and code scanning posture. Experience with IAM, CICD ecosystems, and SOC2 compliance is highly desirable.
The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for establishing high security standards, influencing product design and implementation, collaborating with the compliance team to respond to partner requests and maintain SOC2 certification, improving scanning processes to identify and remediate risks, and organizing the permissioning system to ensure appropriate access controls. They will also contribute to planning, retrospectives, and delivering design documents, as well as working with product engineers to secure new features and update notification systems.
