Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD degree from a leading university in an engineering or computer science related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Domain expertise in LLM, CTR, CV, or HPC (helpful but not required)
  • 3+ years experience with programming proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python, deep understanding of software design, programming techniques, and algorithms
  • 2+ years experience with LLM training framework development and performance optimization
  • Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods
  • Experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++
  • Strong communication and organization skills, logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with key application developers to understand current and future problems, craft and optimize core parallel algorithms and data structures for best GPU solutions via reference code development and direct application contributions
  • Collaborate closely with diverse NVIDIA groups (architecture, research, libraries, tools, system software) to influence next-generation architectures, software platforms, and programming models by investigating impacts on application performance and developer efficiency
  • Travel from time to time for conferences and on-site visits with developers
