Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience as a detection engineer, security engineer, security analyst, threat intelligence analyst, or related field, along with knowledge of current cyber threats and how to detect them using SIEM and relevant technologies. Relevant industry certifications such as GCFA, GCDA, or GCIH are preferred, and experience with analyzing large datasets across various vendors is also desired.

Responsibilities

As a Detection Engineer, you will be responsible for performing threat research and threat hunting to identify emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to build detection requirements, developing, testing, and deploying actionable high-fidelity CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM detection rules, conducting code reviews and testing to ensure high quality and fidelity, leveraging CI/CD best practices, collaborating with Security Analysts to create playbooks for triage and response, collaborating with SIEM architects to develop best practices for data parsing, building and maintaining utilities and tools, and developing and maintaining processes and documentation.
