Responsibilities

  • Handle daily tasks including confirming trades, managing resets & settlement, moving collateral, ensuring timely margin payments, and helping Portfolio Managers and Trading teams achieve objectives
  • Enforce rigorous Operational risk management standards (Key Risk Indicators / Key Process Indicators) and identify, communicate, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Take ownership of exceptions from start to finish by investigating root causes, partnering with internal/external teams for corrective actions, and following through to resolution
  • Review and challenge existing procedures to improve and rationalise in response to changing environment and requirements
  • Develop technical expertise through on-the-job training, self-learning, and active participation in Technology and Operations meetings (e.g., presenting ideas, contributing, problem-solving, ensuring strategic projects stay on track)
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, communicate BlackRock’s value proposition, technology roadmap, and industry position, and participate in regular reviews to ensure outstanding service from third-party providers
