Responsibilities
- Slice, package, weigh, and sell various deli products, including meats and cheeses
- Maintain presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
- Provide assistance to Members in the deli department
- Provide high level of customer service: answer questions, recommend items, answer calls, take special orders
- Help Members select correct products and sample products to assist purchasing decisions
- Prepare and package special orders and party trays
- Receive and inspect deli shipments
- Display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products (incomplete in description)
