Requirements
- Must be available Sunday 12p-8p, Monday 2p-10p, Tuesday/Thursday 10a-6p
- Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
- Knowledge of food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
- Ability to provide high level of customer service, answer questions, recommend items, and take special orders
- Commitment to maintaining presentation, cleanliness of deli and display cases
- Ability to receive, inspect, display, stock, rotate, and store deli products
- Understanding of production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
- Provides a high level of customer service to Members, answers questions, recommends deli items, answers calls, and takes special orders
- Slices, packages, weighs, and sells deli products including cheeses and meats; helps Members select products and samples them
- Prepares and packages special orders and party trays
- Receives and inspects deli shipments
- Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Ensures all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
- Supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; acts with honesty, integrity, and member focus
- Ensures a safe and positive environment; embraces inclusion, diversity, and teamwork
- Delivers GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate); maintains fast, friendly, full, fresh, clean standards
- Executes grand opening look daily, stocks items, implements promotional plans, maintains signage, and keeps areas clean and organized
