One year of retail or related experience preferred
Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents
Basic mathematical skills

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting frequently. Exposure to a typical retail store environment and outside weather conditions
Responsibilities
Prepare and produce deli products to production planner specifications
Package and label deli products according to program plans
Merchandise deli products per flight plan/merchandising expectations
Stock backroom with deli products, rotating and dating cases/buckets
Work as a team with other departments and stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash Retail stores
Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered
Understand basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division
Communicate tasks, recipes, weights and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associates
Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
