Requirements

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
  • Strong theoretical foundation in machine learning, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and statistical inference
  • Hands-on expertise in Python for data science and machine learning (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience building, training, and deploying deep neural networks (CNNs, RNNs, transformers, etc.)
  • Demonstrated expertise in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on using GitHub workflows for version control, branching strategies, code review, and CI/CD automation
  • Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s or PhD preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning and deep neural network models for a variety of business use cases
  • Apply strong theoretical knowledge of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data science best practices to solve complex problems
  • Write efficient, production-quality Python code for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation
  • Design and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from large-scale databases
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and deep learning
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Utilize GitHub workflows for version control, code review, CI/CD, and collaboration, ensuring best practices in code quality and project management
