Candidates need 5+ years in a quantitative role in high-growth or fintech environments, fluency in SQL and Python, experience designing and interpreting A/B tests and quasi-experiments, and building product metrics from scratch.
The FinEng team powers revenue flows through OpenAI products like pricing, checkout, payments, and subscriptions, partnering with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure seamless, reliable, and efficient global payments.
Candidates with payments, checkout, or subscription analytics experience, background in offline incrementality methods or causal inference, and experience with internationalization, local payments, FX, and pricing strategy would be an especially great fit.
