Candidates need an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline like data sciences, statistics, biomedical informatics, computer science, or applied mathematics (or equivalent experience), 2+ years applying advanced machine learning and AI techniques to clinical data, direct experience with real-world data like EHR, and strong proficiency in Python.
You will work with a diverse cross-functional team to build reusable and scalable tools, with the ability to work cross-functionally and a tolerance for ambiguity preferred.
Strong candidates have familiarity with medical terminologies and ontologies, software engineering practices for production software, experience with clinical subject matter experts, cross-functional collaboration skills, tolerance for ambiguity, and creative problem-solving abilities.
