Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, socio-economics, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Statistical and logical skills, with experience in data cleaning, outlier validation, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, and data aggregation techniques
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and (un)managed consumer-related crowdsourced panels
  • Proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets
  • Experience with Python or another high-level programming language (R), with a willingness to learn Python
  • Skilled in SQL and working with queries and large-scale databases
  • Eagerness to adopt evolving technologies and tools
  • Strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of consumer behavior, panel-based projections, and consumer metrics and analytics
  • Experience with (un)managed crowdsourced panels and receipt capture methodologies (advantage)
  • Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with technology stacks for cloud computing (Azure, Linux, Databricks)
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket
  • Interest in production-level solution prototyping
  • Experience or interest in supporting technology teams in production deployment

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve current methodologies, including data cleaning, preparation, quality tracking, and consumer projection
  • Present and communicate findings and recommendations based on rigorous research and analysis
  • Develop prototypes of new solutions and methodologies to address market challenges
  • Assist in the production deployment of proposed method enhancements and new solutions
  • Document findings, methodologies, and best practices comprehensively
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution
