Requirements

  • In the 3rd year of statistics, computer science, math, physics, economics, or other technical undergraduate program (graduate students may be considered)
  • Creative thinker, fast learner, good grades
  • Strong coding ability in R and/or Python
  • Passionate about data science and the technology industry
  • Experience with and technical understanding of statistical modeling & machine learning techniques
  • Some experience with SQL (plus)
  • Experience with big data/deploying models into production (Spark, AWS, Docker, Flask, plumber) (plus)
  • Passion for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) (big plus)
  • Passion for data science - performing unbiased & rigorous analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills - creative solutions and asking the right questions
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Business acumen - practical and useful work
  • Strong communication skills - collaborative work with non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment with critical thinking and strong problem-solving
