Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data pipeline concepts
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Enthusiastic about learning new technologies, solving problems, and collaborating in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
  • (Nice to have) Experience with Docker or containerization
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
  • (Nice to have) Interest or prior exposure to the retail or analytics industry
  • (Nice to have) Experience working with large-scale data processing tools like Apache Spark
  • (Nice to have) Exposure to tools such as Databricks, Airflow, or Hadoop

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Product Managers to design and implement end-to-end, cloud-based data solutions
  • Assist in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines using modern data engineering tools and best practices
  • Support the creation of reliable, scalable, and secure data workflows across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Contribute to data quality, reliability, and automation initiatives to enhance existing processes
  • Participate in source control, testing, and CI/CD practices to support agile data delivery
  • Engage in team meetings, sprint reviews, and design discussions to gain exposure to the full data lifecycle
