Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial services industry in a Data/Analytics/Research/Technology oriented role requiring knowledge of investment workflows and products
  • Bachelor’s level education with a focus on statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or related fields
  • Experience with natural language processing and the modern Transformer architecture for text summarization, vectorization, entity extraction and reasoning

Responsibilities

  • Partner with in-business teams to lead the design and development of AI models/use cases for key BGM initiatives, focusing on the technical build and evaluation of Proof of Concepts towards Production, especially in the fast moving Generative AI space
  • Be a subject matter expert and a resource for large language models (LLMs)/Natural language processing work within BGM
  • Build quantitative/ML models as needed and in partnership with research and data science teams within BGM and at the Firm
  • Create common tools and platform solutions that can be useful across multiple BGM use cases, leveraging and adapting Firm technology where applicable
  • Work with BGM’s data engineering teams to source new datasets for AI modeling and prepare existing ones for AI use
  • Work with BLK’s central AI office and other AI-forward teams at BlackRock, especially in Investment organizations to identify synergies and opportunities to partner
  • Create alignment and help build a community with AI, Research and data teams in Gurgaon and within BGM globally
