Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Experience with ETL tools and techniques
  • Experience with a general-purpose programming language (Python preferred)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • On-site presence at least three days per week (60%) in Spring Hill, TN office

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and database schemas for efficient data retrieval and storage
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes
  • Develop and maintain scripts for data processing
  • Ensure scalability and performance optimization of data pipelines and queries
  • Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data quality standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with data analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions that enable effective reporting and analytics
  • Design and build reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Document data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions
