Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, math, economics, or a related field, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher. Applicants must have at least one year of experience in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization, and proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail, time management, and follow-through. A Master’s degree in data science, data analytics, business analytics, or a related field with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher is also preferred, as is experience with JavaScript, Python, Power Automate, RedShift, or other data tools, and knowledge of energy efficiency, environmental sciences, or sustainability.

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau to present program data, design and customize reports that meet business requirements using best practices and innovative approaches, advocate for data visualization best practices, dashboard design, and analytics storytelling, learn, operate, and integrate with company proprietary computer software, ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity in all deliverables, and manage project timelines while tracking billable hours as needed. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned to support the company's energy efficiency programs.
