Candidates should possess a Master's degree, a degree in engineering, or a doctorate in computer science, or a related field. They should have 2 to 5 years of professional experience or be a highly promising newcomer, with proficiency in the C++ programming language (version 11 or higher), experience developing under Linux, Windows, or MacOS, and a good understanding of simulation numerical, parallel programming, 3D rendering techniques, and Python. Strong communication skills in both French and English are also required.
The C++ Developer will be responsible for developing software that runs on the world's largest supercomputers, collaborating directly with industrial and international scientists, and contributing to innovative and accessible open-source software. They will develop tools for data analysis and visualization, communicate directly with clients to provide the best technical solutions, and support open-source communities around VTK and ParaView. Additionally, they will assist in training and sharing expertise, and potentially take on project management responsibilities and client relations.
