Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET (including .NET Core / .NET 6+) using object-oriented design principles, with a solid understanding of interfaces vs. abstract classes and composition vs. inheritance
  • Implement efficient data access using Entity Frameworks and optimize queries with advanced SQL Server indexing strategies (clustered, non-clustered, constraints), stored procedures, and database objects
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring REST-compliance and best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability
  • Write robust unit tests using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, with mocking support (Moq) to ensure high code coverage
  • Use logging frameworks such as Serilog, log4net, or NLog to implement structured logging and diagnostics
  • Apply best practices in multithreading, asynchronous programming (async/await), and synchronization to avoid concurrency pitfalls
  • Collaborate in CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices to automate builds, tests, and deployments
  • Stay current with modern .NET language features (nullable reference types, null-forgiving operator, default interface methods)
