Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL / Microsoft SQL Server
Proficiency in SQL
15 years full time education
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
Experience in operations / field data / utilities domain (good to have)
Exposure to scripting / data pipelines / ETL tools (good to have)
Ability to handle large datasets and optimize performance of queries and dashboards

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and reporting pipelines
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand business goals, and convert them into actionable metrics/dashboards
Monitor reporting systems for reliability; identify anomalies or discrepancies in data and troubleshoot & fix data quality issues
Produce client / internal facing reports, data dictionaries, schema diagrams, and documentation for reports
Improve efficiency and performance of queries, ensure scalability
Stay up to date with SQL-related technologies and data platforms; contribute suggestions for improvements in data stack and processes
Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME)
Actively participate/contribute in team discussions
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems
Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows
Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
