Requirements

Minimum 7.5 years of experience (10+ years preferred in SAP Analytics/Business Intelligence/Business Warehouse (BI/BW/HANA))
15 years full-time education
Must have skills: SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development, SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM
Strong understanding of SAP HANA data modeling concepts (calculation views, attribute views, analytical views, Core Data Services (CDS))
Experience with data provisioning, data access security, and SAP HANA Studio
Minimum 1 end-to-end implementation experience with SAP HANA 1.0 and 2.0, including full lifecycle project with SAP HANA SQL and/or SAP S/4 HANA
Experience with SAP HANA Analytics transformation solutions, ETL tools, and SAP BW
Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and database concepts
Prior experience in developing complex data integration (data ingestion and transformation from non-SAP and file-based systems to HANA datastore)
Deep understanding of databases on HANA platform and various complex calculation views
Strong hands-on report development based on SAP HANA modeling/application and relevant HANA development
Hands-on exposure with technical and functional knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, AFO, and SAC analytics

Responsibilities

Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting strategic solutions
Work with Business and Application Development teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models
Contribute to design of data models and data structures
Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and related coding practices to ensure consistency of data models
Create technical design documents from functional specification documents
Create logical data models with corresponding metadata using best practices for high data quality, scalability, and reduced redundancy
Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments
Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts; validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness
Develop complex conceptual and logical data models
Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
Create HANA objects such as Calculation Views, Stored Procedures, and functional requirements
Architect and design secure and robust BI solutions for enterprise data to end-user business analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Analysis for Office)
Understand business requirements behind assigned tasks; create or modify data mappings
Prepare data for testing, execute, and validate data
