Requirements

  • Must have 6 months forklift experience with a single employer within the last 3 years
  • No gaps in employment greater than 6 months within the last 3 years
  • 3 months of stand-up forklift experience is preferred
  • Willing to work in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 12 hours
  • Willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and bend, squat, lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds in temperatures ranging from 0 to 28 degrees
  • Standing or walking up to 100% of the time
  • Proficiency in reading and writing
  • Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
  • Must provide own steel or composite toe boots (ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating, slip resistant sole, covering ankles; composite toe preferred)
  • Able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Scanning, wrapping, and breaking down pallets of boxes in the stage area to be put away in the warehouse rack system
  • Operating motorized forklifts, including stand-up Crown PIT forklifts and reach trucks
  • May be trained on and operate cherry picker for additional tasks
  • Performing other job tasks as part of the daily routine or assigned by management
