- Expertise in credentialing workflows, SOPs, SLAs, and accreditation standards
- Ability to supervise Credentialing Specialists and provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and training
- Proficiency in queue management, quality checks, and direct file processing (e.g., credentialing/recredentialing files, COI process)
- Skills in monitoring PSV inbox, Booking Calendar, internal trackers, and dashboards for real-time tracking and troubleshooting
- Experience maintaining data integrity across platforms and executing operational tasks like start date changes and license updates
- Capability to triage issues, flag delays/blockers, and escalate with context and proposed resolutions
Responsibilities
- Supervise Credentialing Specialists’ daily tasks, ensuring alignment with SLAs, workflows, and onboarding timelines
- Serve as subject matter expert on credentialing processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and SOP adherence
- Act as first point of triage for delays, documentation gaps, or platform issues, escalating to Credentialing Manager
- Monitor PSV inbox and Booking Calendar daily, troubleshoot misbookings, and provide backup coverage
- Maintain accurate records in trackers and platforms, including start date changes, license updates, and workflow triggers
- Execute Certificate of Insurance (COI) process for new providers, additional licenses, and terminations
- Process credentialing and recredentialing files during volume spikes or specialist absences
- Track provider onboarding progress daily and flag risks, blockers, or deviations to leadership
- Conduct quality reviews of all credentialing files for standards, audit readiness, and committee requirements
- Identify and escalate recurring workflow/documentation issues, training needs, or performance concerns
- Maintain and update operational SOPs, reference materials, and training content
- Provide workflow support, troubleshooting, and training/refreshers to specialists, including new hires
