Requirements

  • Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other IT-related degree
  • Strong written/verbal communications
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability and desire to solve complex software problems
  • Strong customer management skills and ability to understand, translate, and define complex business requirements and recommend solutions
  • Preferred: Web Application development experience including HTML, C#, CSS, XSL/XML (Java, JavaScript/React, SQL, and jQuery a plus)
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint/Power Platform experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and application development in the area of Intranet/Extranet applications
  • Improve technical expertise through identification of new processes and technical alternatives
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships and add value by leveraging knowledge to assist business needs
  • Work with internal teams, occasionally external design/implementation teams, and cross-functionally between business and IT to bridge gaps between design, content, and technology
  • Overall project management including implementation and testing of new functionality/features
  • Design, develop, debug, produce, refine, test, deploy, maintain, and document web-based solutions using customized and out-of-the-box functionality (web parts, InfoPath forms, code)
  • Design solutions that reflect requirements and provide innovative solutions within time and cost constraints
  • Act as a technical resource to users, customers, and team members
  • Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and troubleshooting user-related problems
  • Keep customers informed of progress and resolve user issues quickly and efficiently
  • Provide functional and technical specifications for development and collaborate with development team to deliver objects
  • Create and maintain documentation for successful implementation and support of web environment
  • Maintenance of the Corporate Internet site(s)
  • Assist in support of various Intranet applications
  • Handle internal communications
  • Responsible for various business-driven projects (requirements, documentation, coding, deployment, maintenance, and support)
