Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field and have 3-4 years of experience in a security engineering or incident response role within a tech company. Recognized cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, or CEH are required, along with strong experience in using Crowdstrike EDR, Splunk, and other security monitoring tools. A deep understanding of common attacker tools and techniques, as well as experience with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Okta, GSuite, and cloud-based VPN services is preferred. Candidates should also have strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java/Kotlin, and Kubernetes is essential.

Responsibilities

The Corporate Security Engineer will collaborate with various teams to analyze applications and drive security improvements. They will design, develop, test, and evaluate new security controls, perform incident response, and create custom detection strategies. This role includes analyzing and developing secure systems, using data from various tools to mitigate threats, and implementing cybersecurity infrastructure projects. Additionally, the engineer will investigate cybersecurity incidents, assess systems for vulnerabilities, and perform digital forensic analysis to collect and preserve evidence.
