Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment controls design, integration, and/or execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%, <25%)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support projects that define, source, engineer, integrate, install, and commission new capital equipment into General Motors laboratories
  • Provide controls related technical direction and oversight to outside vendors/suppliers
  • Generate technical solutions for current and future projects & equipment from a controls engineering perspective
  • Understand and work to timelines and milestones for projects/assignments to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Follow all corporate safety standards and site safety policies
