Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Willingness to learn new software
1-3 years of experience working in a finance or accounting role
Prior banking experience a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with processing financial contributions from individuals and organizations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contributions received
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding donor information and contribution amounts, always respecting the privacy of our church family
Communicate with donors and provide exceptional customer service regarding contribution-related inquiries
Provide support to our campus contributions teams
Assist staff with ministry deposits and contributions/account receivable questions
Work closely with the finance team to reconcile contribution records with bank statements, ensuring accuracy and integrity in our financial reporting
Be flexible to work during special events or seasons which may result in increased contributions requiring additional attention
