Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience building scalable backend systems using Python
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems design
  • Experience with machine learning workflows, including model integration, inference optimization, and serving pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and ML tools like PyTorch, TensorFlo

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize Python-based backend services and APIs powering Gen AI experiences
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers to operationalize AI/ML models for large-scale production use
  • Build data processing pipelines that enable real-time and batch inference at scale
  • Contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features — from experimentation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services running on cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Partner with frontend and product teams to deliver seamless AI-first user experiences across web applications
  • Uphold procedures for code quality, testing, CI/CD automation, observability, and documentation
