Requirements
- Apprentice Electrician License required
- OSHA 10 required
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Ability to work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting) for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Comfortable with heights and working in hot and cool climates
- Previous solar installation experience strongly preferred
- NABCEP Installer or Certificate of Knowledge (plus, not required)
Responsibilities
- Observe and assist Licensed Electrician by following written or verbal instructions
- Follow all safety protocols, wear protective clothing/equipment, and adhere to job-specific guidelines
- Maintain tools and inventory, ensure tools are on site and available, keep parts/materials organized, transport as needed
- Prepare and clean work site before and after projects (remove unused materials, dust, dirt)
- Assist with mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Perform routine electrical work, install electrical equipment/systems/controls including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
- Assist with other duties as assigned by Electrician
