Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management is a plus
1+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
Proficiency in inventory software and basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, SAP systems)
Ability to send professional emails and use computer systems for record keeping and ordering supplies
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and ability to interact with vendors and internal staff
Physical ability to lift and move items as required (regularly lift and/or move 30 pounds using safe lifting techniques)
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
English language proficiency is required
Willingness to comply with biosecurity/animal welfare/safety requirements (showering, changing clothing/footwear, no jewelry except medical ID, body piercings covered, sign agreement to avoid avian species, abide by Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines)
Ability to perform physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments and outgoing supplies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management systems
Ensure proper storage and organization of all goods in accordance with safety and handling guidelines
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Collaborate with warehouse staff and vendors to coordinate deliveries and resolve inventory issues
Monitor inventory levels and proactively order supplies and stock as needed
Assist with periodic inventory audits and reporting
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
Identify and report damaged or missing items
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control
