- Must reside in the United States
- Must agree to submit to a Security Threat Assessment (TSA)
- Must comply with biosecurity/animal welfare requirements: showering, changing clothing/footwear, no jewelry except medical ID, body piercings covered, sign agreement to avoid avian species, abide by Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines
- Physical ability to lift/move 50 lbs., push/pull 1000-1500 lbs. (on wheels), stand majority of shift on concrete floor, walk, sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel objects/tools/controls, reach with hands/arms, balance, stoop, bend over, talk/hear
- Willing to work Monday-Friday including holidays and some Sundays, 7:00 a.m. until job complete (averages 40 hours/week, subject to change), in a biosecure environment
- Preferred: previous agricultural or production experience
Responsibilities
- Place hatching eggs in properly labeled buggies (40%)
- Place trayed eggs into the pre-warm room and into the setters (10%)
- Weigh eggs and record breakouts (20%)
- Clean and sanitize the egg rooms (10%)
- Assist egg truck driver during pickups and deliveries (10%)
- Operate high-pressure and regular water hose, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizer, pack export eggs into cases, assist shipping clerk as needed, maintain a clean and organized work area (10%)
