Requirements

  • Strong EE fundamentals
  • Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits, with underlying strength in math and physics
  • Hands-on lab experience including soldering, data acquisition, lab test equipment: multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc
  • Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up, debugging and functional verification
  • Familiarity with schematic and layout tools (Altium a bonus) as well as circuit analysis and simulation tools (SPICE)
  • Experience with a scripting language for analyzing and plotting data (Python a plus)
  • Ability to use Office tools: spreadsheets, word processor, etc
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Enthusiastic electrical engineering student or new graduate

Responsibilities

  • Test, analyze, design, evaluate and debug circuits to support exciting additions to our product line
  • Contribute directly to near and long-term commercialization efforts for next-generation wearable bio-sensors
  • Collaborate alongside a small team of multi-disciplinary engineers experienced in bringing medical devices to market
  • Gain exposure to the testing approach required to release Class 2 compliant hardware in the medical device industry
