Requirements

Must hold an active and unrestricted South Carolina LPC or LISW-CP license and be credentialed or willing to be credentialed in Charleston, North Charleston, or Columbia, SC. For LPC supervisors, a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision or 5 years of continuous clinical experience with specific supervision training is required. For LISW-CP supervisors, a minimum of 4,500 hours of clinical practice beyond the LISW-CP license and specific supervision training is necessary. Candidates must have been a Thriveworks Clinician for at least 3 months and possess strong character with integrity, honesty, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision to a minimum of six resident talk therapists, including weekly group supervision and individual supervision for every 15 clinical hours. Responsibilities include coaching resident clinicians on professional and clinical development, overseeing documentation, and completing weekly documentation of supervision sessions. The role also involves completing coaching documentation for performance concerns, collaborating with the Regional Clinical Director on performance issues, and performing duties as outlined in the Clinical Supervisor Expectations document.
