Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years)
- Attention to detail with solid organizational skills
- Fundamental understanding of early phase clinical trials, with detailed ability to understand study protocols and translate requirements into procedural tasks for conduction
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking
- 1+ year of leadership responsibility
- Ability to frequently drive to site locations and travel both domestic and international
- Physical ability to be frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day, perform repetitive hand movements, moderate mobility, occasional crouching/stooping/bending/twisting, light to moderate lifting (up to 15-20 lbs), and use computer software

Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing staff in technical operations to ensure proper nursing coverage of clinical study activities
- Manages staff, including interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counselling, and separations
- Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations
- Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime
- Serves as a technical consultant in the planning and execution of study conduction workflows and setup
- Oversees technical aspects and operation of study conduction in the clinic, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Prepares weekly to monthly scheduling and study conduction assignments of nursing staff to meet clinic needs
- Ensures staff accountability and consistency in execution of duties and management of working hours
- Leads and directs departmental staff meetings as guided by operational and other applicable agendas
- Participates in projects and department initiatives as needed
